Treads and Rostra

Treads from Stage to Auditorium can be supplied at additional cost. Various rostra available at additional cost.

Dressing Rooms

Large dressing room to rear of stage for up to 50 performers.
Dressing room dividable for Male and Female separation.
Additional studio space available for dressing for larger casts.
Male and Female toilet and shower facilities.

Wardrobe

Five large mobile wardrobe racks and ironing facilities.
Note : Washing facilities are not currently available on site.

Rehearsal Room

Fully sprung mirrored multi purpose rehearsal / dance studio 15 x 11 metres included in hire costs unless otherwise specified. May be utilised as additional dressing room.

Catering

Bar / Café facility equipped with fridge, urns, microwave oven, dishwasher, crockery, glassware and cutlery. Hirers may obtain a liquor licence for specific events.

Bar may be operated by the hirer or The Curtin Theatre.

Box Office

Mobile box-office / reception counter relocatable to any foyer location. Counter may be staffed by up to three people

Flying System

The theatre does not have a fly tower so full drop cloths and scenery cannot be flown out of sight of the audience. All bars can be lowered to stage level for rigging purposes.

There are nine bars in the theatre for scenery and drapes. 5 bars are dedicated to drapes in standard format. Four bars are empty and available for scenery or flown elements

Batten Loading

Each batten has a maximum distributed load of 350kg

Yamaha G1 Baby Grand Piano.

Audio Visual

  • Various camera positions around auditorium patchable in bio-box.
  • BenQ FB2380 video projector x 1
  • Projector cradle for front projection. Rear projection available in conference or lecture set-up.
