The Gifted and Talented programs at John Curtin include Artsmedia, Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Drama, Music, Music Theatre and Visual Arts. All programs offer students a unique opportunity to enhance their learning and continued progress in chosen areas of specialisation.
Students usually enter programs in Year 8. The entry point for Artsmedia is Year 10. Applications for all Gifted and Talented programs must be made by registering online at det.wa.edu.au/education/giftal or by completing the form in the Gifted and Talented Education booklet. This booklet is available through primary schools, the Department of Education and Training and John Curtin College of the Arts.
A small number of places may become available in Years 9 to 12 and all enquiries for entry into these years should be made directly to the college.

The Artsmedia program offers your child the opportunity to develop skills in radio, film and television media.
