Minister Opens New Buildings

On Friday 6 March the Hon Peter Collier
MLC Minister for Education along with
Sharyn O’Neil Director General of Education
officially opened the new Year 7 buildings at the college. This
consisted of an $11.1 million mathematics, science, general
teaching and dance building as well as a $3 million renovation
of student and staff toilets across the college. The school and
the College Board thanked the Minister for his commitment to
Public Schools stating that the magnificent buildings was the
result of working with architects, builders, college staff and
Government personnel who display vision and creativity. It will
be a lasting acknowledgement of quality practice. The new
buildings complement our culture of excellence and respect for
student personal and academic success. We are very proud to
be part of something that contributes so positively to students
in Western Australian public schools.
