The Gifted and Talented Arts Programs at John Curtin include Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Drama, Media Arts,Music, Music Theatre and Visual Arts. All programs offer students a unique opportunity to enhance their learning and continued progress in chosen areas of specialisation.
Students study their Gifted and Talented Arts course alongside their core subjects of maths, English, science and humanities. They also have access to digital technologies, design and technologies, languages (Italian), and physical and health education. The college offers a Specialist Football Program and an Academic Excellence Program.
John Curtin College of the Arts actively participates in community programs in the Fremantle/Peel district and has developed positive relationships with tertiary and Arts organisations throughout Perth.
We have two theatres that support the students and staff aspirations for excellence in the Arts. These facilities are complemented by three dance and rehearsal studios, art studios and a media centre inclusive of television and radio studios.
John Curtin College of the Arts has built a national reputation through the quality of its programs in the Arts. The Arts College has educated actors, dancers, artists, musicians and film makers who are prevalent in Australian artistic life.
