Jordan Butler joined the College four years ago as an English teacher, after spending over six years working as a copywriter and marketing strategist in the advertising industry. A lifelong lover of language and literature, Jordan relished the opportunity to enrich his students’ understanding of storytelling and communication to help them in shaping their own stories and finding their own unique voices. In this role, he gained a reputation for his enthusiastic and student-centred approach to teaching, and his empathetic and supportive manner with his students.

Now, Jordan has joined our College Engagement Team as the Coordinator for Years 7 and 8, where he can offer more direct support to the College’s newest members as they take their first steps on their high school journeys and watch an exciting chapter of their story begin to unfold.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts (English) and a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Western Australia. Outside of work, he enjoys writing, art and exploring his interests in technology and philosophy.
