Academic Excellence Program

Academic Excellence Program

For highly able and gifted students, we offer specialised academic courses in English, humanities and social sciences, mathematics and science as part of our Academic Excellence Program in lower school.

The college’s Academic Excellence Program places like-minded students in a challenging and rigorous environment designed to celebrate academic excellence and enable your child to reach their full academic potential.

Arts students can participate in this program at the same time as their arts courses. Participation is based on results of the selective entrance test taken by all applying for Secondary Selective Entrance Gifted and Talented Education programs in Western Australian public schools.

Students living in the local area for the school and also those who are accepted into the Specialist Football Program can also apply for the Academic Excellence Program by sitting the college’s academic testing examination, NELSON testing results and school reports.
