Throughout the year the College plays host to a variety of extracurricular and recreational clubs run by staff and specialists for students to learn, socialise and pursue hobbies and studies.

Sports

AFL Club

Year 8 and 9 Australian Rules football. With a home and away season against local schools.

Start Date: Term 2 for the girls and Term 3 for the boys

When: Training on Friday morning and games Monday after school.

Location: JCCA oval or away at the the opposing school

Chess Club

Play the Game of Royalty. A game where that simulates a war between two kingdoms. Who will be the new ruler? Is your opening strategy The King’s Indian Defence, The Sicilian Defence, The Ruy-Lopez, The Caro-Kann Defence or maybe your own opening strategy. Beginners and experienced players are welcome.
