At John Curtin College of the Arts, we acknowledge that academic excellence presents in many forms. Our Gifted and Talented Arts programs provide rigorous academic courses of study in the arts for students identified as gifted in the creative domain and our Football Specialist program provides opportunities for identified students to excel in the psychomotor domain.
The College also invests in all our students’ pursuits in the cognitive domain through the learning areas of Mathematics, Science, English and Humanities and Social Sciences.

Engage, Extend, Enrich Program
This program caters for students with formally identified natural abilities in the intellectual domain. The program runs from Years 7 to 10 with the aim to support gifted learners develop talents within the domain following a GERRIC Education based model.
Challenge Pathways
A subject specific class for students who have demonstrated a high level of effort and achievement in a particular learning area. Challenge classes may be reviewed annually with students invited to participate at the end of each year by the learning area.
