Gifted and Talented Secondary Selective Entrance programs provide the opportunity for exceptionally able students to study in learning environments that challenge, inspire and empower them to excel every day.
John Curtin College of the Arts’ Specialist Football Program is an elite program for aspiring athletes.As well as receiving expert coaching and specialised skill development, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of arts, academic and extracurricular activities.
In this program students are provided with an accelerated, extended and enriched curriculum to meet the needs of gifted adolescent learners in their journey to achieve their personal best.
Enrichment provides all enrolled students at the College the opportunity to engage with different art forms, allowing them to develop their sense of self and creative expression.
For our upper school students who aim to continue into tertiary education, our Pathways program brings them the tools and skills they need to realise those goals.
Athletics, Academics, Tertiary Readiness, Life Readiness, Arts- our suite of programs offer a wide range of initiatives, enhanced or specialised curriculums and other options to take learning beyond the classroom.
Every year we invest great effort into affording our students choices in how they pursue their passions.
Our football program supports a roster of industry professional coaches, the academic excellence program identifies and enhances the development of students with strengths in Traditional Core Subjects, while life readiness units in our enrichment program promote positive mental outlooks through artistic learning, our pathways program prepares our students focused on tertiary education with the tools they will need to excel and of course our Gifted and Talented program continues to lead the state in visual, media and performance arts.
