Claire joined the College in late 2020. She has worked in a number of schools over her 20 year teaching career, starting out teaching Health and Physical Education then moving into numerous College Engagement positions including Year Coordinator from Years 7-12 and Manager of College Engagement Years 7, 8 and 9.

Currently Claire is working in the Year 7 – 9 space, coordinating the Year 7 transition to High School, the Peer Support program and the Wellbeing program across Years 7 to 10. Her daily routine revolves around supporting this cohort, providing guidance to navigate the complexities of high school and the intricacies of making and keeping friendships. These interactions serve as the perfect backdrop to teach organisation skills, time management, leadership and problem solving.

Her kindness and compassion seeps into her everyday processes, allowing for an unbiased and non-judgemental approach to complex situations. Claire believes that it is essential to take a personalised approach to her work and is dedicated to finding the perfect strategy for individual students in her care.
