Kristi has a long and varied history with JCCA, first joining the College as a Gifted and Talented student in 1991. After beginning her teaching career in the UK, she returned to the College as a Health and Phys Ed teacher, moving into Student Services roles before taking a career break to have children.

Returning to the College as a Science teacher, she has enjoyed moving back into the Student Services space as Year 7 and 8 Coordinator, pursuing her passion for supporting students and families through the transition to high school.

With children in early high school, Kristi is well placed to understand the challenges impacting students and families in these transitional years, and brings compassion and a balanced approach to her interactions with students. She enjoys working to find personalised solutions to each unique situation, supporting peer relationships, providing guidance to navigate the demands of secondary school, and supporting communication between students, parents and teachers.

Outside of school hours, Kristi enjoys balancing the demands of busy family life with yoga, reading and planning her next holiday destination.
