John Curtin College of the Arts is celebrating a momentous achievement, having been awarded GOLD in the School Pathways to VET Award at the prestigious 2024 Australian Training Awards!

This outstanding national recognition highlights the College’s dedication to providing exceptional vocational education and training (VET) programs for its secondary school students. The award celebrates the quality and effectiveness of the pathways JCCA has created to enable students to pursue vocational careers.

Principal Travis Vladich and VET Director Nat Bird recently travelled to Canberra to proudly accept the award on behalf of the College. “This award is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire JCCA team,” said Mr. Vladich. “We are incredibly proud of the VET programs we offer and the opportunities they provide for our students to develop valuable skills and pursue their chosen career paths.”

Ms. Bird added, “Receiving this national recognition is a fantastic achievement. It validates our focus on providing high-quality VET pathways that equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workforce. We are thrilled to be acknowledged at such a high level.”

This Gold award at the Australian Training Awards marks a significant milestone for John Curtin College of the Arts and reinforces its position as a leader in vocational education within the secondary school sector. A huge congratulations to the entire JCCA community for this well-deserved honour!
